On December 11, 2023, the first mobile street shelter SafePlace was installed in Chernihiv. The production, artistic design and transportation were funded by InterChem and Undersun Hotel. This is the third shelter funded by InterChem and Undersun Hotel.
The first two were in Mykolaiv and Kherson. These shelters were also the first for these cities.
The shelter in Chernihiv was installed at a public transport stop, near a modular town on Drozd Street, built by the Red Cross Society. The anti-shrapnel shelter can accommodate up to 15 people. There are benches and lighting inside.
This is the 14th mobile shelter installed by SafePlace4UA in Ukrainian cities. Previously, mobile shelters were installed in Mykolaiv and Kherson. We are grateful to the responsible business for their concern for people’s health and lives!
“SafePlace” is a mobile shelter made of reinforced concrete that can accommodate and protect more than 10 people. The shelter is made taking into account all standards for anti-splinter shelters. The wall and the upper floor protect against fragments and fragments, bullets, blast wave.
The advantage in placing shelters is public places of rest, children’s playgrounds, places of mass gathering of people, etc.
Our goal is 1,000 shelters in the cities of Ukraine!
